TOMAHAWK MULTIPLE CATCH RODENT TRAPS Trap several rodents at a time with the Tomahawk Multiple Catch Rodent Traps. They are constructed of heavy duty galvanized wire mesh, spring loaded double doors, and safety handles. The automatic closing door springs shut after the rodent enters the trap and automatically resets to catch the next animal that enters, while keeping the trapped animals inside. Tomahawk manufactures four different sizes of multiple catch traps. Models M35, M40, and M50 are similar in style, and only increase in size. Model M80 has a slightly different style. It is built with the same repeating trap doors as the M35, but also has an extra large holding area for lots of trapped animals. Tomahawk Model M80 can hold many more chipmunks and rats than the M35 can hold. It also has a handy release door conveniently located on the side of the trap. For optimal trapping conditions it is best to smear some bait on the surroundings in front of a Multiple Catch Trap, and leading into the trap. Peanut butter seems to work the best for attracting most rodents. It is very important to smear a small amount of peanut butter just outside the trap door, and on the wire mesh, with the majority of the peanut butter inside the trap. Always place most of the bait in the middle of the trap. The idea behind this bait placement is that the rodent will start on the outside of the trap, and push its way into the trap as it eats the bait on the wire mesh. The trap door will spring shut behind the rodent as it enters the trap, AND it will be ready to trap the next rodent that comes along.
